So this is how it feels to fail

Many of you should already know that I had the half yearly exams last week. Why? Because I kept on crazing on about how I'd fail them.

From Monday to Friday that week I felt so devastated; I never felt satisfied with how I went with the exams I did that day. Part of it may beis definitely due to the fact that I didn't do what you'd call 'good' studying. In fact, the only two subjects that you could actually say I studied for was English and Maths, only because my sister was on my back on what I had to study for my English exam, and because my maths tutor was kicking me in the shins telling me to study for Maths 2U and Maths 3U.

I lie, she never kicked me  in the shins.

Just about all of the results have come back (except for Japanese which I know I've failed) this week. From the top of my head I can list down what I got for each. I can't gurantee an accurate score:

English Advanced
Section 1: 11/15
Section 2: 7/20
Section 3: n/a - has not come back yet, but will be a definite fail since I ran out of time. 5/20. Haha. Yup, it's a fail.

Maths 2 Unit
65 - 66%. Either one of those, can't remember. Some people say "Oh, that's a pretty good mark. It's a pass." No. It is not. Remember, I'm Asian. Asians are supposed to be good at maths. Shame on me.

Maths 3 Unit (Extension 1)
33%. I'm pretty sure this is the worst I got in any sort of exam, ever. I've yet to tell my maths tutor. She will most likely, well, kick me in the shins with steel capped boots.

Visual Arts
Errr...60-something-70-something%. I have such a pathetic memory. I think that is also why I keep dying in exams.

Photography
77%. The highest mark I got in this year's half yearlies. Pretty disappointing really. If I were to show this to me in year 7, that little chubby me would die inside. Actually, I died a little inside when I saw it on Monday. Ha.

IPT
76.25% I came first in the class, which I was happy about. So happy in fact that after I found out, I dropped my bag on the ground and smoked the ground with my sweet break-dancing skills. Also got a bit of carpet burn since the ground was, you guessed it, carpet. Worth it.

Japanese Continuers
I don't know yet, like I said earlier. It's either going to be just-satisfactory or absolute fail. Either one. Take a bet.                                            (Bet with your head, not over it. )
All those who said 'just-satisfactory', you win. Twas a 52%. However, I came first in the class with the speaking test with 13/20. Awesome.

You know what I should actually be doing instead of updating a blog I never use?
Studying for tomorrow's Japanese Speaking exam. That's right kids. I have the official final exam for me tomorrow and I'm not even studying for it! Surprise, surprise.

And with that, I bid thee farewell.

Curtis.
